







Dumbo Re-imagined


Fun With a Classic
The 85th anniversary of the release of Walt Disney's Dumbo is coming in 2026. In a fun project, I updated the logo and added a few pieces of collateral to go along with the logo. This was a fun project. I enjoyed reminiscing and researching the original brand collateral from 85 years ago.
The Goal
The primary goal for this project is to attract a new generation of Dumbo lovers.
Target Audience
I would focus on 5 - 10 year olds for the primary target audience.
Secondary target audience would include adults ages 25 - 45 years old with children in the primary target audience age group.
Design Process
I wanted to keep the feel of the old logo but with more updated typography so, I used block style typeface and added a bevel to give it a 3D effect.
I added the circus tent inside the letters to show that the movie is about the circus.
The color palette of reds and blues exude excitement and strength.
