User Experience Design for App

This is a new application design for a bookstore. This project focused on designing a smooth checkout process that is uncomplicated and quick. My contribution to the design process was developing a presentation to present to the client.

The Challenge

The problem for this client was that a smooth and speedy checkout was needed to ensure that potential customers didn't get frustrated and choose a competitor due to frustrating checkout processes that take too long to accomplish.

Target Audience

The target audience was college students ages 18-28 that shop mostly online and need a bookstore app that stores payment info for a speedy checkout.

​Design Process

• Gathered information from the design consult with the client.

• Determined what the most important features were to the client and the user.

• Researched similar apps and designed the presentation to show the client options that could be included in the customer checkout process.
